LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

A selection of Tom's favorite images are available as Limited Editions of a 350 print series in each size. These Fine Art Prints are exhibited in Tom's Gallery in Moab, Utah. Each print is numbered and signed by Tom.

Matted and Framed Limited Edition prints are available in sizes ranging from 11x14 to 32x40. Each print is double-matted using white museum-grade archival matte board. Frames are available in Pecan, Mahogany or Cherry Hardwood and other styles.  Regular glass is used in most cases, though several styles of non-glare glass are also available. 

Extra large Limited Edition prints are available in two sizes, 40x50 and 48x60. With these sizes, which do no allow regular glass or matting, we suggest using plexiglass and regular framing. Large mural sizes are available on request.

PRINT MATERIALS

PAPER PRINTS

All new paper prints beginning in August, 2011 are done with a Lightjet machine on Fuji Pearl paper. We feel Fuji Pearl paper is the state of the art in paper printing, and the best material Fuji has ever offered. Some legacy Fuji Crystal Archive and Ilfochrome prints are still available.

METAL PRINTS

All prints are available in any size as beautiful Metal Prints. Introduced last season, this media has been extremely popular with buyers. With dyes infused into coated aluminum, the prints seem to glow with an inner luminescence.  Seeing is believing.  Many people in the gallery look behind the floating mounts to see if they are lit from behind.   Our supplier is extremely efficient, also allowing us to deliver these prints in short order. Metal Prints are archival, virtual bomnproof, and easy to clean.  Tom's imagery and metal prints were made for each other!

CANVAS PRINTS

New in 2011, we are offering canvas prints. Offering a somewhat more painterly take on Tom's work, the canvas prints are still very sharp (from Toms 4x5 transparencies) and also have a distinct glow. Also, the intimacy of having no barrier between the art and the viewer is spectacular, and creates an even stronger feeling of being able to walk into the print.  These prints are also perfect for environments with lot of windows and reflections. With no glass or exterior frame, even large canvas prints are lightweight and easy to move and ship. As with with paper and metal processes, all of Tom's images are available in any size

Fuji Pearl Paper, Metal Prints and Canvas Prints are used for both Limited Edition Fine Art Prints and some Special Order prints of images selected from the Stock Library.

A high resolution digital scan is made of the original transparency (4x5 inch) film (each image creating a 350mb file), and any dust particles are removed. Each image is color corrected to the original transparency and fine-tuned to Tom's specifications, resulting in a precise reproduction of Tom's vision. The entire digitizing process is performed in-house insuring consistency and high quality results throughout.

The final high quality image is sent, ready for printing, to a leading Digital Photographic Printer to be printed on a LightJet 5900 printer operating at its highest resolution (RES16) on glossy Fuji Pearl Paper
